Benefits at a Glance:
Sunflower lecithin is a natural emulsifier derived from sunflower seeds (not to be confused with sunflower oil).
Lecithin has been used in the food and supplement industry for decades, but was originally sourced from egg yolks and soybeans. Today, sunflower lecithin is favored in the supplement industry as a non-GMO alternative to soy-based lecithin. It’s now used in a variety of products, especially for supplements for liposomal delivery.
Sunflower lecithin’s phospholipid structure is used to create liposomes, which are like microscopic “bubbles” that can encapsulate and deliver nutrients in supplements to your system more effectively by safeguarding them from the body’s natural defenses. In this sense, it can be considered a carrier that also improves the bioavailability of nutrients.
The phospholipids in sunflower lecithin are natural emulsifiers, which means they allow water-based and oil-based ingredients to mix seamlessly. This helps stabilize the ingredients in liposomal supplements to lengthen shelf life, prevent separation, and provide a smoother, more pleasant texture.
Calm: To make sure both active ingredients are distributed evenly throughout the dissolvable strip and to improve fat-soluble nutrient absorption.
NanoGlut+B: To stabilize ingredients and improve absorption.
